I met with an accident when I was in 10th grade (late 2009, early 2010) during which I had a complete fracture on my left tibial bone. I underwent surgery at manipal hospital which went successfully. However, after the surgery I experienced problems with my left toe such that I couldn't lift it up and down by my own free will and when I asked the doctor he said it was up to me and how much effort I put in through physiotherapy. No matter what I tried there was no difference made and when I asked other doctors they said its nothing to worry about and won't cause me any problems in the future. I am a footballer and over the years I have bared this condition thinking nothing can be done but with my own research I found out that its called Checkrein Deformity and it is fixable. But what I'm not sure about is whether after all these years is it worth fixing and will it help me have a better quality life also If there are noninvasive methods. Please advice Doctors, Thank you, Nitin.
