Hence, avoid sweets as much as you can. Do it gradually. Along with it, also avoid other processed and junk food. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables; 4 to 5 servings at least. Eat less rice, potatoes and other carbohydrates. Drink plenty of water; at least 2 to 3 litres daily. Have your dinner earlier than usual and keep it light. Exercise at least 5 days a week.
