Start taking small and frequent meals, skip an evening snack and add a fruit plate in its place, choose pulses (daal and daal products) in place of rice and/or parantha and/or deep friend foods. Strictly avoid fast foods and junk foods, refined wheat flour products and snaking out often. The more you will stick to home made foods, the more you will be able to control your food choises and in turn you will be able to stick to you diet. Add more carrots, corns, mushrooms, broccoli, in your diet (since approaching winter). Always go for seasonal fruits and vegetables instead of sticking to a particular.
