I'm suffering from depression a I recently had a ceasearan and my baby survived for only 13 days. I feel terribly sad and m unable to recover from this incident although my husband and family are helping me a lot but m not cooperating. Should I go to a doctor for professional help?

Yes, you should. You may have a more serious problem and this incident could have triggered that. I am sorry that you had this loss, and that itself can be quite overbearing; but for the depression to persist and that you are not responding much to the overtures made by one and all to help alliviate your distress may be a sign of something more serious.

You seem to be having post parts depression, kindly consult a psychiatrist for remedy. Treatment would do wonders, else it will be very difficult to take care of the baby. All the best.
