Hi Doc, No family history of having sugar. 1st August of my fasting sugar level came 91. Then I was taking roseday F (anti cholesterol tab) for 20 DAYS and I stopped taking it as I came to know that can cause sugar. I feel dizzy from two weeks so I got done Random blood sugar test which came 85 (post 4 hours of breakfast) I am worried whether I should go for fasting blood sugar test now?

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. The reports about statins causing diabetes are highly exaggerated. There are lacks of patients or should I say crores, taking statins for correcting cholesterol. So there is no worry. Your blood glucose levels are fine. There is no reason to do any further testing. Thanks.
