My cousin was suffered from tuberculosis two times from last 4 years. I heard that hiv patients have risk in chancing tuberculosis many times. Is my cousin have hiv. Her age 34 weight 65 and height 5'6. So please give me some courage and immediate accurate answer. Whether she had go for hiv test? Now she is fully healthy.

Hello- HIV is an infection, when it changes into AIDS, it leads to decreased immunity and the body tends to suffer any opportunistic infection (TB, viral etc) easily. Having TB twice does not mean the person is HIV positive, so no need for it. However if you suspect that your cousin might have been into unsafe sex or blood transmission lately, you can go for HIV testing.
