lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Jaggery is made from sugar cane juice like sugar is made. So there is no difference in sugar and jaggery. Both are containing sucrose, hence eating either of these substances is bound to increase blood glucose level. Thanks.

Jaggery also increases the blood glucose levels although not as much as sugar. It is best avoided
