I am 37 years old lady with 72 kg weight. I am taking 100 mcg thyronorm daily. Today my TSH is 9.099 how much thyronorm should I take then?

Kantiji, Thanks for the query. On treatment with thyroxine, one should be able to maintain TSH around 3 to 4 mU/L, then only all the symptoms are in control. Therefore, your present dose appears to be inadequate. Better to increase by 12.5 mcg, then check TSH after 6 weeks, if level still more than recommended, then the dose may have to be increased again. Thanks.
