Blood pressure is a fluctuating problem. It can change from time to time and with age. Multiple factors have a role in this. Some can be modified, others can just be managed through medications. Factors that can be modified are exercise levels and food we eat. Exercise daily for 40-45 mins, avoid caffeine, smoking and salt rich food like chips, pickles, papad, chutneys etc if even after 6-8 weeks of these precautions BP is still high, you will need to take medications too, and these medications can be required for lifetime and doses may vary from time to time, so you should remain in follow up of a cardiologist.
