Dear user. I can understand. Dissociative disorders (DD) are conditions that involve disruptions or breakdowns of memory, awareness, identity, or perception. People with dissociative disorders use dissociation, a defense mechanism, pathologically and involuntarily. Dissociative disorders are thought to primarily be caused by psychological trauma.
Dissociative disorders are managed through various therapies including: Psychotherapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) Medications such as antidepressants can treat symptoms of related conditions.
Are you under any treatment? Please let me know. You are just 20 and therefore you should lack the patience to go through the psychotherapy methods. If you have patience and are willing to go through the psychotherapy process for continuously 6 months to one year, cure can be surely seen. Take care.
