I am 26 yers old, non smoker non drinker, I eat healthy too. From one and half year I have a small lump on mu right nipple, it does not go, few girls told me its normal, But I am scared now, I do not see any other symptoms, no pain or swelling or any rashes. And my left breast does not have any lump.

I am a 24 year old girl and since twenty days I have been experiencing pain, inflammation and discomfort in vagina and it pronounced during urination. This happened 2 days after I had intercourse. The Dr. prescribed me levomac 500, becosules, allegra 120 and quadriderm RF cream (I couldn't get how to apply this) for 5 days. However, since a week I started experiencing very slight inflammation and discomfort again which increased after starting the course again since yesterday. I hope it's nothing very serious Please help.

Ms. lybrate-user As you asked about your problems related to your Vaginitis after sex I would like to advise you it is not very serious. You just wash with warm saline water or warm water boiled with fitakari and give fomentation with warm cotton over your vagina. You should continue it for 3-6 days twice daily. Make sure easy during sex. If you feel pain or uncomfortable stop it otherwise maybe serious injuries. You may use light paste of Haldi and water, warm it and mix little oil or Ghee and paste over vagina ,keep it up to dry and then wash it with warm water. It will help you.

8 Ayurvedic Remedies For Premature Ejaculation!

In today's stress filled life, most of us struggle from a number of problems, be it physiological or psychological. Premature ejaculation is the uncontrolled ejaculation that occurs when a man experiences orgasm and expels semen soon after sexual intercourse. 1 out of the 3 men faces this problem. If it is happening on a regular basis then it is a cause of concern.

Causes for premature ejaculation:

Biological cause:

  1. Abnormal hormone level
  2. Abnormal levels of brain chemicals
  3. Thyroid problem
  4. Damage of nervous system
  5. Infection in the urethra or prostate
  6. Heredity

Psychological cause:

  1. Erectile dysfunction
  2. Anxiety about intercourse
  3. Cultural guilt related to sexual pleasure
  4. Relationship problems

This problem can be treated using modern techniques like sex therapy, medication or cognitive behaviour therapy. Our ancient Indian literature like 'kamasutra' describes various methods of Ayurvedic treatment by combining various herbs and natural ingredients.

  1. Safed musli (Chlorphytum Borivillianum) - It is a small herbs rich in saponnins. It acts as natural source of antioxidants.

  3. Semal musli( Salmalia Malabarica) - It is a herb the extracts of which contains tannic acid and gallic acid as active chemicals.

  5. Shatavari( Asparagus Racemosus) - It is a herb that helps overcome physical weakness.

6 Spices & Herbs That You Must Eat!

The use of herbs and spices has been important through the course of history. Modern scientific research has shown that many herbs and spices offer various health benefits and are known for their medicinal properties even before they were used for cooking.

  1. Cinnamon: Helps in regulating blood sugar levels. Cinnamon is widely used in various types of culinary creations, particularly baked goods. Cinnamon is rich in a compound called cinnamaldehyde, which endows the herb with its medicinal properties. This spice contains the highest level of antioxidants than other spices, which helps in fighting inflammation and has been proved to lower down levels of triglycerides and cholesterol in the blood. Many studies have also shown that cinnamon can lower down your blood sugar level by slowing down the breakdown of carbohydrates as well as improving insulin sensitivity.
  2. Sage: Helps in improving memory and brain functions. The name “sage” is derived from the Latin word Salvere, meaning “to save.” In recent times, several researches have been conducted that show the efficacy of sage in improving functions of the brain and memory, particularly in individuals who are suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. Other studies have indicated that sage can improve the function of the brain, both in young and old.
  3. Peppermint: Aids in reducing nausea. Peppermint is well known for its medicinal usage, which makes it a critical component of aromatherapy. Many studies have shown that use of peppermint oil helps in alleviating the pain caused by irritable bowel syndrome. There are some studies that indicate peppermint can also help in fighting the problem of nausea among women in labour.
  4. Turmeric: Endowed with anti-inflammatory properties. Turmeric is a popular spice that is used for giving the yellow colour to the curry, but it also contains several medicinal properties. Turmeric is rich in curcumin content, which is an anti-oxidant that not only helps in preventing damage from oxidation, but also boosts the body’s own antioxidant enzymes. It also has strong anti-inflammatory properties, which can match to that of many anti-inflammatory drugs.
  5. Holy basil: Helps in fighting infection. Basil, one of the sacred herbs in India, is known for inhibiting the growth of numerous bacteria, molds and yeasts. It can also reduce the blood sugar levels, both before and after meals. Holy basil also aids in fighting anxiety and depression.
  6. Cayenne pepper: Aids in controlling appetite. Those individuals who are looking to lose weight can use the cayenne pepper as it not only helps in controlling appetite, but also increases the amount of fat burned. This is the primary reason why it has been included in many commercial weight loss supplements. Some animal studies have indicated that the capsaicin content in cayenne pepper also helps in fighting liver, lung and even prostate cancer.

Hello Lybrate user As you asked about your problems related to your bumps on your Vagina .I would like to advise you to give fomentation with warm saline water shoaked cotton over your vagina .Then after 10 minutes apply Alovera gel over it.You may repeat it twice daily for 3-5 days. Be aware in future. It should may be harmful such bumps over vagina.

Hi, I am 28y married male and I started felling pain in my shoulder, so I do x-ray and it shows that I have cervical spendlos (mild). So how I can care? Hello Lybrate user I would like to suggest you for neck exercise moving clockwise and anti clockwise for 10 minutes two times daily and not to use any pillow beneath head. Learn yoga and exercise with yoga teacher or Physiotherapists who will help you lot. You may follow some Ayurveda medicines as given below. SPONDYLON. .2TABS RHEUMAT. .2tabs twice daily with warm water for 15 days. If you feel better result then continue it for 3 months.

My wife is 65 years old from past 5 /6 months had pain in her both knees ,doctors has suggested total knee replacement, doctors has told that she varicose vein disease also. I am 21 years old. I am suffering from irregular periods since my mature. I have periods once in 3-4 months and whenever period comes blood flow is too heavy and it lasts for 10 -15 days. I tested for thyroid profile and it is normal. I even got scan of my abdomen and it is normal. My blood pressure is normal. Can you please suggest some medicines so that my period is regular and not overflow. Please suggest medicines so that I can have normal flow through out my period.

Hello Lybrate user As you mentioned about your problems related to your irregular periods I would like to advise you that it may be possible that your hb is low or have some harmonic imbalances due to that you have this problem. I would like to advise you to follow regular daily routines of getting all dietary measures and daily behaviours as well as yoga and exercise every day and morning walk every day before sunrises. You may use rich nourishment diets and fresh fruits - and fruits juices in your daily life. You should have a glass of warm milk boiled with ginger, haldi including ghee and nuts every day before going to bed and at breakfast. You have to avoid oily or junk food and sour products e.g. pickles etc . You should massage Bala Ashwagandh adi tailum ( oil ) over whole body then bath with warm water after 1/2 an hour.You may follow some Ayurveda medicines as given below. HEMTAB. ...1tab twice daily with water after break fast and dinner. HEMPUSPA. .. 10ml twice daily with water after meals. You should avoid the above mentioned medicines during menstrual periods. If continue the above mentioned medicines for 3-6months regular you will be perfectly healthy as well as you will get rid of your problems.

Hello ms. Madhurima ji You may use the following Ayurveda tips as given below. Red Masoor daal powder..5gm Haldi powders. .1/4 tea spoon Chandan safed 1/4 tea spoon Kesar ...5 filaments Make paste of Masoor daal with milk and mix all the others ingredients togather .The paste should be cleared to paste over whole face properly till dry. You may keep it safely in the night and wash the next day.After washing your face you may use KUMKUMADI LEPAM As cream over full face.

Hello Lybrate user You are young and energetic. You should change your daily life style what you have in present. You may follow the regular routines of getting all dietary measures and daily behaviours as well as yoga and exercise every day and morning walk every day. Stop nights awakening. Go to bed before 11 pm, drink a glass of warm milk boiled with ginger and haldi including ghee and nuts every day before going to bed and at breakfast. Get up early morning before sunrises and take two glasses of warm water, add a pinch of salt and one lemon's juice and go for a morning walk every day. Learn yoga and exercise from a yoga teacher and practice daily. You may use light diets and soups of carrots and Beetroots and green vegetables and moong daal soups fried with cumin seeds and ghee and garlic. You may use Khichari and Dariya with moong daal and green vegetables and sprouts of black Gramm and moong at breakfast. You may use fresh fruits and fruits juices in your daily life. Avoid oily or junk food and sour products e.g. Pickles etc and nonveg specially mutton. Use lot of water about 4-5 listers in a day. It will help you lot if you follow the above mentioned tips. Meditation practice two times daily. She may use light diets and soups of carrots and Beetroots and green vegetables and moong daal soups fried with cumin seeds and ghee and garlic. She may use warm milk boiled with ginger, haldi including nuts and ghee every day before going to bed and at breakfast. She may avoid oily or junk food and sour products e.g. Pickles, yogurt and heavy proteins and paneer. She may follow some Ayurveda medicines as given below. HEMTAB 1 tab twice daily with water after meals. HEMPUSPA .10 ml twice daily with water after meals. She may continue it for 3-6 months regular. NOTE: She may not use any medicine during menstruation. She should avoid sexual indulgence during treatment. I assure you that she will get rid of her all problems.
