There is no such medicine which gives you complete unrestricted access to food for diabetics. In fact no medicine has proven to cure diabetes from any form of medicine. The existing medicines can only manage and control the diabetes. Changes in lifestyle can reduce the impact of diabetes if you are in pre-diabetic stage. Diabetes can be controlled/managed by a proper regulated diet and exercise. Eat every two hours mini meals. Don't eat big meals. Take more green vegetables/salads. Eat whole grain food/grains like ragi, wheat, jowar instead of refined grains like maida/ sooji/ white bread etc. Reduce foods with high GI Index like potato, white rice, banana, mango. Avoid all forms of simple sugars like Colas, juices, sweets, cakes, biscuits, pizzas, noodles etc. Eat daily fruits with low/medium GI index like apple, guava, mosambi, orange. Eat proteins like dals, sprouts, egg, chicken etc with every minimeal. Drink lot of water. One glass every hour. Do at least 30-45 mins of exercise everyday. Walk for 10 mins after every meal. These steps can help reduce sugar levels.

Mr. lybrate-user, So far there is no cure for diabetes in any branch of medicine. Some false claims are made by various practices about it. If anyone does discover a cure for diabetes he/she would get a Nobel Prize. It can only controlled and possible complications can be either prevented or postponed. Thanks.

Hi drink some bitter gourd juice on an empty stomach each morning. First remove the seeds of two to three bitter gourds and use a juicer to extract the juice. Add some water and then drink it.
