Hi, For a 29 years women is 99 oral temp/ 98 under arms temp normal? I referred doc, she has gone through all tests including CBC, dengue, double antigen, malaria, tc dc esr, urine re/C's, crp, chest xray. Everything is normal except CRP is 20 and esr is 40 and urine re says pus cells 8-10 after antibiotics, esr is treated to 29. She had joint pains which is now better. She is not feeling feverish and do not have any other problems. Bowel movement is fine. Only thing is temp after 12 pm to evening time taken orally is coming 99 sometimes. But under arms is 97.8 arnd. Ar early morning, oral temp is 97.8 and underarms is 97. Doc says not to do any further test, says she is ok and asked her to continue office. I just double confirming. Thanks for your help.

Dear Lybrate user, I have to inform that 98. 7F / 37. 8C is normal body temprature. I body temprature goes higher than 100F that time only required medicines under supervision of Doctor. Without Physician supervision & understanding excess use of anti pyratic or pain killer may harms vis Gastritis, Renal failur, Liver diseases etc.
