My husband aged 52 years has been suffering from severe itching has been almost all antihistamines and box of lotions and creams his lab results are all normal lft, serum creatinine, thyroid test and fbs 100. He has hypertension with BP 135/85 and is on seloken generic medicine, fenofibrate and recently blood thinner was added. He is having this issue for more than a year. When we go to docs they are prescribing the antihistamines and creams and to avoid use of soaps. I want to know the root cause of this. Due to severe itching which starts at evening left him with lesions on anterior part of legs, back, below the abdomen and arms. It first started on the scalp and have lesions there also. Please help.

Your husband is most probably suffering from fungal infection. There are excellent ayurvedic medicines available for chronic skin diseases which give complete relief without reccurences if taken full course along with suggested diet restrictions. This occures due to lot of sweating so to prevent that he should take bath twice or thrice a day. He should keep the affected area dry by frequent application of abzorb powder. He should follow healthy diet such as lots of fruits vegetables salads and bland diet. He should avoid oily fatty spicy and sour food items. Avoid eating junk food and outside food. Avoid non veg and food made from besan maida and urad. Stop milk and milk products. Medication. Capsule neem 2-2 syrup purodil 2-2-2 triphala guggul 2-2-2 kaishor guggul 2-2-2 vidangatishta 2spoons twice orally with equal quantity of warm water. Take all these for 6 months.
