Been on paroxetine 50 mg for a good few years broke my foot xmas 2021 did not take medication in hospital I have very bad depression and now paroxetine is not helping I am seeing a consultant in 2 weeks what is the best medication for me to change too. Thank you so much for any advise you can give.

Dear Patricia, Paroxetine will work after few more weeks or increased dose will work. Usually after stopping, it takes more time and more dose. Please continue paroxetine 50 mg till you see the consultant.
