My parents both are having type 2 diabetes. I am planning to buy accu check active glucometer for home testing. Is it reliable. Can I use the same machine but different lancet needles and test strips for both of them or do I need a separate machine for both of them. Also I am planning to buy liv check slippers for diabetics. Is it useful as my mom complains about swollen legs due to long hours of sitting and when she stands, she has pain in her knees. Also, is can we use stuff instead of sugar on a daily basis?
