My father is 65 years of age taking hypertension medicines tested corona positive on 3 september discharged from hospital on 14 september after discharge feeling lethargic and tired, not able to have bowel movements and gases built up in stomach ,not able to walk for long time lack of appetite pain in the left side of neck he is not clearly mentioning the problems but he is eating little little food and can walk on his legs for some time but gets tired easily we have admitted him on 2 september in early morning at 12.05 am for general weakness but doctor had shifted him to corona ward without testing and he tested him on 3rd september 2020 in the evening and he contracted corona in the hospital itself and tested positive in the report he was alright for 8 days in the hospital but last 6 days was very problematic ,he had fell in the hospital broke his teeth and the doctor didn't treated his injury also but his ct scan done on 8 and 11 september showed no pneumonia.

Please do not blame the doctor for this. Symptoms of weakness itself can be covid19 and he did the right thing as by the time he was diagnosed he was shedding virus and transmitted it to others. Mostly 3-5 days prior to symptomatic he must have transmitted to nearby people. Now coming to his complaints. This is called post covid19 fatigue syndrome which is most common in many patients. It may take 6-9 months for complete recovery. He is fortunate as the doctor treated him and prevented from dangerous complications of pneumonia, myocarditis, renal failure. Diabetes. He has this neurological complications of fatigue only. Good nutrition food. Sufficient bed rest, emotional support, monitoring diabetic profile ,renal function test and liver function tests cardiologist consultation. Is needed. Tab gabamax plus once a day tab becozyme c forte once a day cap omeprazole 20 mg once a day before food in the morning. All these for 30 days. Mild phyrical activity plenty of fruits and nuts. Yoga and meditation under qualified yoga therapist.
