Good day, I have an embarrassing problem. When I pass stool I get a sharp burning pain on the right side inside my rectum, it feels like a knife cutting into my flesh. There is also allot of bleeding, not just on the toilet paper but the toilet bowl is full of blood. You can not even see that I made a bowel movement. I am 23, female, no previous pregnancies, no previous surgery. I drink a lot of water, but I am chronically constipated - it has always been like that. Even laxatives sometimes do not work or they take 2 - 3 days to work. I am very active throughout the day, try to exercise every now and then. I hope you can guide me towards what it could be and if it is serious enough to see a Dr. I have had this issue for a few years, gets better and worse sometimes but never goes away. Thanks and regards.
