I am a caregiver and I accidentally pricked my finger with a diabetic needle after checking for her blood levels. I checked her file and it does not mention that she has hiv or hbv. I had asked the nurse and she told me not to be too worried about anything. Normally, wouldn't the file mention if a pt has hiv or hbv and should I be worried.
