I used betnovate n cream for acne. Then I stopped it face became black. Then I got habitual to it. Skin got damage. I used this cream before 2 months last time. Pls help me to get rid this problem. Face got darker than body color.

Hi, betnovate n contains steroids which lead to thinning, redness, discoloration and increased sensitivity of skin. Avoid exposure to sun and start using a sunscreen with atleast spf 30 and apply is 20 minute before heading out in sun. Increase intake of vitamin c in your diet. Consult a nearby dermatologist so that they can assess your skin and advise you further. Thanks.
