I mistakenly took high dosage of bp medication for two weeks. My normal dosage is telsartan 80 (40 in the morning and 40 evening). But I mistakenly took 80/80, which I came to know today. I immediately reduced to 40 in the evening. Anyway I did not feel any side effects during these weeks though I did not check my bp, rather my bp is 140/90 tonight when I checked it. I am so worried. Can there be any serious effects? Is it dangerous to reduce my dosage back to my normal dosage immediately?
