Respected sir, I am from Jalgaon, Maharashtra. I'm studying in 12th Science. My father is suffered from diabetes. Their blood sugar remains in the range of 300-350. They have also taken ayurvedic treatment. They go regularly for walk at 5 a.m. Early in morning. They have also been admitted in hospital due to sudden change in vision. Now they are not having issues regarding vision. They take climate-DS tablet at every evening but effect is not coming. Being science student I know that besides internal problems of insulin, the environmental factor is also concerned. I always tell my father that they should go to some reputed hospital in Pune, or Mumbai or Nashik. Also, his hand sometimes gets shudder or vibrate while taking curry in dish or even when writing So, can you briefly explain me what should be root cause of shuddering hand? Also, what treatment should we take to get rid off diabetes? So that I can tell my father something about that which you will convey me. I'm waiting for your reply. Thanking you!

Hello, Thanks for the query. The blood glucose levels mentioned are too high, suggesting his diabetes is not at all in control. First and foremost is to achieve a strict glucose control with fasting glucose < 100 mg or closer to 100 mg, PP (after food) 160 to 180 mg & HbA1c% < 7. For that he needs to take appropriate modern medicines to control glucose, then take properly planned balanced diet, exercise regularly for over 1 hour every day. Should have normal weight. He should avoid sweets completely, avoid deep fried foods, pastries, bakery items, no breads and cakes, avoid foods made from maida. No junk foods, no colas, no gud (gool). Increase the intake of green leafy vegetabbles, salads, and some fruits. Always use whole grain flour (Konda kadhunaye). It is better if he consults a local physician or diabetes specialist or if you want my help, then please come in a private conversation (paid consultation), with following details: current fasting, PP glucose, HbA1c%, weight, height, present diet pattern, extent of daily exercise, drugs being taken with dosage, serum creatinine lipid profile, BP readings. Then I will be able to give specific guidance, which he has to meticulously follow. Please understand diabetes can be very well controlled but rarely it can cured. I hope you understand. Thanks.
