Hello! My brother is diabetic type 1 since the age of 2 years and now he is 24. His kidneys failed and he underwent renal transplant 3 months before. Also recently he had vitrectomy for his left eye and laser in right eye for the retinopathy. My question is can he maintain his eye vision for his life time if he take strict control of his HBA1C and other parameters? Right now his vision is normal in right eye and little bit decreased in left eye. Please help. Thanks.
