My mom has been suffering from Type 1 diabetes for more than 15 years. She was prescribed human mixtard insulin and tablet voglinorm m1. After some time she has stopped taking the tablet because of her tummy troubles like indigestion and vomiting, and continued with insulin alone. Now recently we found that her body is not responding to the insulin injection and her sugar level after food always stays around 500. So the doctor changed to antracpid insulin but that also doesn't work. And she feels numbness in left hand fingers. Please suggest what's happening that's rejecting insulin in her body and what treatment she needs. I would be thankful to you.
