Hi, I am having a little bad breath issue since 2 months. I am guessing that it might be tonsil stones because it smells like tonsil stones and I don't have cavities. Please let me know how to solve this. Thank you.

I don't know how you identified the smell as that of tonsil stones. Are you frequently having tonsil or throat pain or infection. Are you currently having throat pain? Yes tonsil infections with white plaque like patches on them colloquially called as tonsil stones can cause putrid or poop like smell. This is due to the the bacterial action on food remnants. If you are not having any fever or throat pain you can try managing the condition with any antibacterial mouth gargle like povidone iodine mouth gargle (15-20 ml solution mixed with double volume water), 6-7 times a day or as much as possible and follow the procedure for atleast 3-4 times with chlorhexidine mouth wash. If there is no progress or relief please consult a physician or ENT specialist.
