66 years old female weighing 49 kgs, height of 5 feet, recently detected diabetic ,has family history of Diabetes, on Acarbose 25mgs before lunch, AtorfitCV10 at night daily since nearly 2 yrs, still has high Blood sugar (Fasting 134 mg%, Hb1Ac 7.7, LDL cholesterol 91 mg%) what should presently be done. Please help.

Hi, Sorry to learn that you blood sugar levels are not well controlled You require to visit your physician for additional medication to control your blood sugar levels. Doctors will probably add gliptins that will control blood sugar levels without causing hypoglycemia.
