Hi, I am 35 years Male and having triglycerides 467 and my sugar levels are normal. Went to see the cardiologist and undergone TMT & 2D echo and found normal. The doctor suggested me a tab "Lipaglyn 8 mg" when I checked over the net this Lipaglyn is for Type 2 diabetes. Please suggest if I used this tablet without Diabetic ,will it cause any side effects like my sugar levels down?

If you are not a diabetic but overweight reduce the weight. If your weight is normal for height then maintain it. Exercise regularly specially aerobic like walking swimming cycling etc. Fenofibrate is better choice for hypertrigyceridemia.
