My daughter now 27 months old. She is not drinking milk. And she is not interested eat anything. But she is so active .but her weight 10 KGS. Her birth weight is 2.5 kg. Out doctor gave iron syrups. But she is not taking any syrup. She is not stopping breastfeeding. Pls give some tips.

Usually it is advised to give breastfeeding minimum for 2 years. If it is given beyond that better to give only at night. Also when the baby is feeling hungry try to give solid food first and then give something to drink. She should at least eat One Katori food 4 times daily and 2 times snacks light diet. Also if she is not taking milk then you can give her Milk products like Dahi that is called curd then buttermilk paneer and all other products that are made from milk. While giving food to the baby it is important that you stay by the side of the baby and give the baby food very slowly. Be patient that the baby completes her food as slow as it takes. Never ever be angry on the child as this spread negativity and the baby will dislike the food even more there are no magic medicines without side effects which will lead to weight gain so at the end it is mainly up to the parents to give food to the baby also you can give the food divided in small quantity and make sure that the baby completes her share. Never force her to eat. Give variety of food. Involve her in small kitchen activities. This also makes the child more active in participation and at the end of work will also enjoy the food that you have prepared along with her. Participation in food making helps her to like what has been made and at the end of work will also enjoy the food that has been prepared. Last give more and more variety. If she dislikes one particular recipe you can again repeat it after one week.
