Hi lybrate-user Just make sure that the diagnosis of PCOS is right. You need to have irregular periods with signs of excess androgens (like facial and body hair growth, hair loss over scalp, skin darkening at neck, excess pimples) and ultrasound showing ovaries with more than 12 follicles, and increased in volume. If the diagnosis is rightly made. Do give some time. Metformin will help. It's not that women with PCOS do not get pregnant. Do consult if you have any doubts.
