Home Remedies For Low Bp: Procedure, Recovery, Risk & Complication

What is the remedy about?

Low blood pressure or Hypotension is very common nowadays and is a matter of serious consequences which occurs due to several reasons including nutritional deficiencies, cardio problems, and a decrease in the volume of the blood, pregnancy-related problems, and neurological conditions. This common disease can be treated at home using simple and readily available items. The first and foremost remedy is Salt Water. If you are suffering from low blood pressure, dissolve a half teaspoon of rock salt in a glass of water and drink it twice a day. Hence, sip a cup of hot and strong coffee or any caffeinated beverage once a day if you are suffering from this condition. Have a grip on your habit though. Another easily available ingredient, Ginger is popularly known for curing low blood pressure since time immemorial. Ginger has a number of anti-oxidants and some plant chemicals namely, Gingerol and Zingerone. These components make sure that your blood pressure level does not suffer from fluctuations. It also has anti-coagulant properties ensuring proper blood circulation across the body. To make a ginger drink, you will need 1-2 teaspoons of grated ginger and a glass jar. Add the grated ginger to the jar, add water and steep this for 15 mins. Drink this tonic once or twice a day.

Are there any side effects?

Side-effects of such home remedies are limited. If you choose the right ingredient as mentioned and follow the guidelines, it is expected that you won't suffer any side-effects. However, misuse may lead you to some unwanted outcomes. Overdoing anything is not fit for your health especially when you are already suffering from a disease. Utmost carefulness and care are needed here towards oneself. Also, try using organic substances for preventing more side-effects. In the case of salt, overdoing the dosage will cause you Hypertension. This is a bit tricky. One remedy can cause you Hypertension as well as Hypotension depending on the dosage you choose. Studies have also shown that excessive intake of salt results in Cardiovascular Diseases. It can even cause Kidney Diseases and Heart Stroke or Failure. Therefore, learn the dosage well before using. Crossing the demarcation of 400 milligrams of Caffeine will bring discomforts too. Discomforts may be seen in Central Nervous System where it acts as a stimulant. Too much of Caffeine consumption can cause you severe headaches, sleep disorder, and even addiction. Caffeine Withdrawal Symptoms can be critical at times starting from hyper-anxiety disorder to chronic depression. So, don't let yourself develop an addition towards Caffeine, use it as a medicine. While, excessive Ginger in your body may produce effects like Gastrointestinal issues (belching, stomach upset, stomach irritation, diarrhoea, heartburn, etc), Thinning of blood as Ginger has similar effects like Aspirin, Allergies,(swollen lips, tongue and throat problems) etc. Allergic reactions and Gastrointestinal problems are common side-effects due to overusing of Ginger. Nausea, bloating, bad taste in mouth, skin irritations or rashes are the other side-effects you may come across. The bottom line is, everything has an effect as well as a side-effect. It depends on you how you use the remedy for your benefits.

What are the post-remedy guidelines?

You need to follow a set of post-remedy guidelines after you are done with the curing of the disease. This is done so that you can successfully prevent the disease from coming back to you in future. When you are drinking salt water, make sure you continue this only until you see some results or until you have fought against your problem. Note that if you are pregnant, please avoid implementing this remedy. Regarding Coffee, make sure you don't get addicted to it as said earlier. Quit the practice as soon as you see your results. Besides, drink as much as 3 liters of water per day as dehydration will be another cause of low blood pressure. Eat a lot of almonds as it helps in stabilizing your blood pressure effectively.

How long does it take to recover?

The time required to heal completely from low blood pressure depends on a few aspects such as, How low your blood pressure is, What treatment you are opting for, What are your symptoms and How fast are the results. For any treatment be it medical or home-based, you have to be patient enough to feel the positive results. Abiding by the recommended lifestyle for a certain period of time will definitely give you a fruitful outcome. Depending on the above-mentioned factors, your body can take 3 days or 3 weeks to recover. Persevere and follow the guidelines in a dedicated manner.

Anal breathing is the beginner s version of Tao s Qi Gong. It focuses on the lower portion of the body. Anal breathing helps young men and boys suffering from critical sex problems such as impotence and weak erection. The knowledge of anal breathing is passed by the Tao masters of China thousands of years ago. This method aims at enhancing the bio-energy flow from the conception vessel and Governor's vessel. Once the technique is mastered, it can fetch rich benefits to people suffering from sexual problems. How is anal breathing done? The procedure starts with a simple exercise of the butt. While urination, light pressure needs to be applied to the bladder by pushing the ankles and the heels upward and squeeze the buttocks against the anus and the tailbone. This will stop urination by contracting the PC muscles and the prostate gland. This, in turn, makes the buttock muscles trigger the s4-s2 muscles to close the prostate-bladder outlet. Similar width of the shoulder and the leg should be maintained at all times while performing this technique. Slight pressure should be exerted against the bladder and the buttocks should be contracted against the tailbone until it becomes warm. The contraction of the butt should be synchronized with the inhalation. While inhaling, it should be ensured that the muscle of the tailbone-anus should be contracted towards the spine. The air should be sucked into the spine, anus and the tailbone of an individual. The sensation of the air getting into the anus is known as anal breathing. Tips to contract the muscles: Beginners have a tendency to contract the anal muscles harder than necessary. Hard contractions end up in doing more harm than good. With more practice, it is possible to master the procedure of contracting the tailbone-anus muscles thereby improving the quality of the erection. The pressure applied to the bladder should be very less. The pressure should be such that the relaxation and the expansion of the prostate and the PC muscles happen smoothly. In case a person possesses a weak prostate or PC muscle, it is advised that he consumes herbs such as the Patricia, Pyrrosia, dianthus etc. Check the reservoir: If the morning erection is no more felt or there is a feeling of fatigue in an individual, the testosterone percentage may be extremely low or non-existent. It is the testosterone that produces nitric oxide to empower erection. If testosterone is lagging in a person, it is advised that necessary measures are taken to build up testosterone levels in the body. This could be done by hormonal therapy, consumption of herbs, medications and such other ways.

The very simple two letter word No appears to be in my professional (and sometimes personal experience) a rather tough word to formulate. On the surface of it, it seems to be simple and straightforward. However, in reality, it can be very hard to say. As humans, we are constantly trying to seek validation and acceptance from our peers and society in general. Which is why people a lot many times agree to things that they do not want to do. This can in part be due to the inability to disappoint someone they love and care about. It is also easier to not say no as it helps us maintain connections with people. Even though the end result could overburden us. The repercussions of this absence of disagreement is critical. By over-committing ourselves, we are actually consuming the majority of our positive energy and using it somewhere where we might not want to. This takes away from our own goals and needs. It leaves us tired and we greet each day like it is simply one more battle or hurdle to cross. We also give up our own basic needs for space, stillness, relaxation and imagination and are bound to our committed state. To avoid this, we must first acknowledge our own needs and priorities for both mental and physical well-being and joy. For this, one may have to know when saying "yes" will fulfill your requirement for rest, relaxation or self-awareness. When we do this, the unfounded dread of not being socially acceptable for saying "no" gradually dissipates. Here are three reasons why saying "no" can prove to be beneficial: You will have more 'Me' time: The extra time made by saying "no" will, at any rate, prevent that forced clock from ticking. It will make you feel like you are in- charge of your own time and destiny. This can truly lighten up your mood, lift your anxiety and bolster your health. Rather than saying yes to going out for lunch or a party that you feel obligated to go to, but might not want to, simply practicing the art of saying no. You will automatically feel happier when you are sitting at home, relaxing rather than forcefully socializing. You will not regret: At first, you may be reluctant to say"no" because of a self- created fear of passing up a major opportunity or the fear of missing out. As a general rule, nonetheless, in case that you need to say"no," odds are you have much better explanations for you not being there. If you do go for it, you might regret it afterwards thinking that you could have done something better with your time rather than having completely wasted it. You & your friends will respect you for it: No one wants to be taken for granted. However, in case you continue saying "yes" to each demand or supposed opportunity that doesn't resonate with you, it will be how individuals will come to see you and behave towards you, as too available. The more you say "yes," the more individuals will generally expect things of you. So, try saying no when you mean no instead of saying yes just to please someone else. They will respect you for it. Personal boundaries and personal space are very important and we owe it to ourselves to say no to other's demands on our time & energy. It's part of self- love & care.

Smoking can affect your health in all respects, and it is no different when it comes to your heart. Smokers are almost twice as likely to have heart problems compared to individuals who do not smoke. How does smoking cast an impact on your cardiac health? Smoking increases the risk of developing various kinds of cardiovascular issues such as stroke and coronary heart disease. It damages the lining of the arteries which, in turn, paves the way for building up of fatty substances called atheroma which narrows down the artery. This may lead to heart attack, stroke, and angina. Tobacco contains carbon monoxide which reduces the amount of oxygen in the blood. This indicates that the heart has to work harder for supplying the required amount of oxygen. Cigarettes also contain nicotine which stimulates the production of adrenaline. This instigates the heart to beat at a faster pace and raises the blood pressure. When a person is regularly exposed to smoke, he or she is likely to have low levels of good cholesterol, damaged heart tissues, and high blood pressure. The most common respiratory disorder, asthma, is an allergy. Allergy is when the body s immune system recognizes something in the system as foreign (or antigen) and produces what are known as antibodies. These antibodies cause allergic symptoms ranging from skin rashes to breathing issues to even anaphylaxis. People who have asthma dread the spring season when the air is full of pollen, and they have severe attacks. In simple terms, what happens during asthma is the air pipes narrow down, leading to symptoms of chest congestion, breathlessness, coughing, and wheezing. Ayurvedic belief is that asthma is caused due to some triggers like stress, exercise, cold air, and excessive pollen. These increase the Kapha component or dosha, which leads to mucus formation in the air passages leading to narrowing of the airways. Some causes include: Weak lung tissues Damp environment Cold and/or stale food Increased ama (mucus) formation Strange as it may sound, Ayurveda believes that impaired digestion causes asthma. Increase consumption of honey and warm liquids like herbal teas Eat a lot of old cereals and whole grains (rice, barley, oats, green grams, etc.) Reduce dairy products as they are difficult to digest and hard on the stomach Avoid white flour, oily foods, sugary foods, cold-stored foods, processed foods, and fried foods. These again are hard on the stomach and not easily digested. Exercise should be done in moderation, as too much exercise can add to the shortness of breath and congestion Try various home remedies and repeat what works for you well. Black pepper powder in warm milk can help relieve the congestion. Ginger root can be powdered along with black pepper and stored as a powder. This can be mixed in warm water or milk and consumed 3 to 4 times a day Steam inhalation where cumin seeds can also be added to the water is found to be very beneficial. A concoction of guava leaves, black pepper, milk, and water can be boiled. This, when consumed for over 6 to 8 months, helps improve immunity. Neti therapy where the nasal passages are cleared of mucus is also a very effective way to improve breathing and keep the airways clear. Stress management either through meditation or mild exercise is very important, as asthma is known to worsen during periods of stress. Herbal oil massages also help improve circulation and nerve supply and therefore improve immunity. Ayurveda believes these improve immunity and thereby control asthma.

There is no such disease as low BP as many people say and believe. BP becomes low in only in dehydration.blood loss wtc. If you walking normally your BP level is ideal for you . You consult me with your BP reading and your symptoms

Hi, Follow these tips: 1. Increase intake of salt by adding salt to curds rice and taking pickles along with curds rice. 2. Drink plenty of fluids like Nimbu pani, tender coconut, water, buttermilk, fresh fruit juices,etc. 3.Drink hot coffee or tea when you feel dizzy. 4. Take sound sleep for 7-8 hours at night. 5. Consume lots of fresh green leafy vegatables, fruits, sprouts, high protein diet, etc.
