supraventricular tachycardia is not a dangerous disease. ALL attacks will stop without causing damage to heart or body. What is your present treatment,? Please post ECG taken during tachycardia if available for more information

52 years male with 10 years history of diabetes, hypertension. Hba1c is 9.2. Cholesterol normal, except triglycerides which are 500. Mildly active lifestyle. Meds. Metformin 1000 mg bd. glimepiride 1 mg bd. Rosuvasf5 od. Kindly advise.

triglycerides are manufactured in liver from wheat rice sugar alcohol fruits etc . increase diet items that do not go to liver for manufacture of triglycerides what is your present diet?

Underwent cabg in 2015. Since then taking deplatt-cv and met -xl 25 mg want to know about medication changes if any and follow up tests to assess cardiac status.

Avoid too much testing. If you are doing fine, no chest discomfort during activity, just annual ecg and creatinine level is usually sufficient. Plus, of course sugar, bp watch.

Which is the best tablet for bp ranging 150/110 for 52 years of age male. I started using tablets but not sure which is the best. Currently i’m using met xl 50. Telma ct 40/6.25 or met xl 50? Which one would you suggest? If you have any ideas other than these please share.

whichever medicine controls BP well will be better for you. in diabetes with BP 150, telmesartan CT may provide better control. met xl raises sugar slightly,

cod liver rich in vitamins, fish oil has omega3. Heart protection is with fish oil, not with cod liver oil.

Rosuvas is useful after heart attack, or in people with cholesterol above 320. Suggest you double check whether it will help you or not before continuing.

I use aten 25 twice a day. If I don't, my heart rate would go up. Is there any cardiology doctor who can explain why? I don't have anxiety. I have mild pah and tr, mvp, rsvp: 40 mm hg, bicuspid aortic valve (from report), I am taking sachet for vitamin d3. Hdl: 58, ldl: 139.

Everyone taking a ten will get palpitations when stopping. Reduce gradually, 12.5 mg dose reduction every week to avoid this problem. Palpitations are common with poor diet. Reduce sugar and starch, increase traditional health foods like nuts eggs.

Try each medicine for 2 months before changing. Also reduce sugar jaggery and alcohol and starches in diet.
