Well, as per history you have provided, 90% it has chances of being type 1 DM If you can provide his weight and height ,it would have been more helpful Type 1 DM was also known as Juvenile onset or Insulin dependent DM It would be of great help, if you can get his HbA1c levels and Urinary Ketones Common differences between type 1 and type 2 diabetes Type 1 DiabetesType 2 Diabetes 1.
