I am 54, healthy and. Do regular exercise. No diabetes or any other life style issues. .About. Three months back I have completely stopped. Eating white sugar in any form, including tea coffee. Sweets etc. I did it to keep my weight. Under. Control. Have I done. The. Correct thing for health or not? If so why?

if you are taking sweet in other formats like fruit , jaggery etc . then its fine to stop purified sugar.
