Should we concern about needle used for drawing blood by diagnostic centre? What happen if these needle is re-used? Can it transmit HIV?

Hi Amit.. Obviously, if a needle is being re-used there will be risk of HIV transmission if the previous person had HIV. If the previous person did not have HIV, nothing will happen. However, obviously chances cannot be taken and therefore reusing/ re-using after sterilizing etc have been done away with long time ago. No diagnostic centre would reuse needles these days. So while theoretically one can get worried about such a possibility, I dont think in reality such a possibility exists today. SO don't worry and take care!
