My father (86 years) gets lot of cramps and pain in his legs specially while lying .His recent recent tests shows low iron 37, low RBC 3.77,Low hemoglobin 11.6 7 low LDL 79. Please let me know the medicine and food he should take for recovering.

Pain and cramps in his legs are typical symptoms for a spinal stenosis. He may be comforted by putting a pillow under his knees when he is resting on the bed. Anything that causes flexion of his knees and hips will be comforting. Please meet a spine specialist soon.
