Sometimes the body's immune system is compromised due to various reasons especially at this age. The role of care takers is to be vigilant and see that she is physically protected from drastic changes in the temperature. She has to take nutritious diet and try as much as possible to be active so that there is good digestion and circulation. With proper general care and regular timely treatment she should be feel better. You can introduce Homeopathy if there is recurrent infection and needs lots of antibiotics. Hello, Incontinence of urine is most likley due to urinary infection. You could get her urine tested for microscopy and culture and sensitivity. Elderly people have less immunity, hence they easily catch infections like respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections etc. If you feel she has recently lost weight and her abdomen is growing bigger, I would advise her to consult a general physician who would do some basic blood tests on her and also refer her for an ultrasound scan of her abdomen. Hope this helps you Thank you.
