I have OCD and anxiety problems since long and taking medicine XET CR plus 12.5 mg twice and depsol plus half tab in lunch time and half in night and Telma H for BP. My doctor told me that you will take this medicine and work normally. This is not harmful and give example that in USA number of people taking xet cr due to work pressure, also told when one tab give you good life then what is the problem. Is it correct .Please advise.

Without a detailed history it is not possible to comment on the treatment. However, if you do have anxiety and/or OCD it is important that you take medication. Symptoms of either of the two can be quite debilitating, and may worsen without treatment. As long as the symptoms seem to be improving or are kept in check, there should be no hesitation in continuing treatment. People with diabetes or hypertension are on medication chronically; this is no different.
