Hi ,I m 23 years old male. I have problem of isolated diastolic hypertension. Whenever I check my bp it is in the range of 130/100,140/100, the lower value I.e the diastolic blood pressure never falls to less than 100 ,which should be in 80 or 90 range. I wan to know the cause for this and medications for this diastolic blood pressure.

Hi at a age of 23 This is a high bp and should be dealt seriously Distole is the phase when heart relaxes and blood fills in the heart ,which is pumped after wards to various parts of body A elevated diastole means that your heart is not relaxing properly and is not filling up Start exercising 45 min a day Do not smoke Avoid ghee ,sarson oil instead use safolla and olive oil You will be prescribed medicines for bp for 3 month like beta blocker at1 antagonist but I can not write meds here due to company policy Message me in pvt wuery for that Do not worry you will be fine with medicines.
