Hi my friend is non diabetic patient. I suspect he might be having amaryl tablet and due to that his sugar levels are going down. Is there any way to detect the low sugar levels are due to this amaryl medicine? Please suggest me if any diagnosis will let me know about it.

Amaryl is a diabetic medication and it will lower the blood sugar levels. If your friend is not a diabetic, then he need not take amaryl. Ask him why and who advised him to take amaryl tablet if he is a non-diabetic.

You can get his Fasting Sugar, PP and A1c test done. This will give you clear results of his Sugar levels. A1c gives average glucose levels of past 3 months. However no medicine should be taken without doctors prescription. Every medicine has side effects. It can damage body systems.
