Hi These values indicate pre-diabetic or borderline status. Aggressive diet control and moderate physical activities are indicated. Losing 5 to 10% of weight at this stage will help control the prediabetic stage.

Fasting sugar more than 126 may indicate diabetes. But single reading would not tell us anything. Kindly repeat the reading two more times. Take the best of three readings. Fasting should be less than 126 and pp should be less than 200. In the mean time please avoid too much carbohydrate rich food like extra rice, and high fat content food, pizza, burgers, etc. Shift to roti, wheat based meals. And take small frequent meals daily rather than heavy meals at a single time. Kindly get back to me with reports.
