Last 4 year back I got an accident and after that I got a fracture in my leg. And last 3 month back my scooter slip very badly on the road. After that whenever I am driving the scooter I have so much of fear of accident and death. Every time I think about the same. What should I do? I never take nay medicine for the same. My age is 42 year and I am a male.

You are competent and brave which is why you are daily driving. Leave the past as lessons learnt, focus on your present and observe traffic rules. As long as you follow traffic rules and drive at a reasonable pace you have nothing to fear. Dear lybrate-user, Sometimes post traumatic disorder comes back with any small trauma. It depends on your temperament, personality and your coping skills. It is good that you are continuing to use scooter. As time goes by, you will get used to it. You can increase your coping skills in order to face any accidents in a better way. For example accident insurance policy, mediclaim policy, ICE numbers on mobile, bkood group card, etc. If it interferes with your day today life and if you avoid using scooter, please consult a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist, who will prescribe an anxiolytic or antidepressant tablet, do exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy or a type of relaxation therapy with eye movements.
