Mr. Lybrate-user, with 10.8 hba1c%, your diabetes is totally uncontrolled. It is clear that current treatment is not enough, it has to be upgraded. In fact with such high hba1c% you have to be shifted on to insulin injections. Unless rapid control is achieved, you are likely to invite all the long term complications. Thanks.
