Hi lybrate-user, chances are that you will have a normal pregnancy now. However, I would suggest that you visit a gynecologist who is a IVF specialist or infertility specialist to know your other options as well. I am not trying to scare you, just trying to well prepare you. There are various options an IVF specialist can provide you. Here some information on various type of IVF treatments: Type of Fertility Treatments 1. In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is a reproductive technology in which a doctor removes eggs from the ovaries with a small needle passed through the top of the vagina. The extracted eggs are then combined with prepared semen inside the lab ? starting the process of fertilization. After this happens, the resulting embryo is placed back into the uterus via a small catheter passed through the cervix where the embryo implants and develops. 2. Gamete Intra Fallopian Transfer (GIFT) is a similar to the IVF procedure, except the eggs are first combined with washed semen inside the fallopian tubes before fertilization. GIFT has no benefits over IVF. Now GIFT is rarely performed because, doctors must do a laparoscopy. 3. Intra Cytosplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) is a procedure in which the doctor injects a single sperm into each egg, using a microscope and sophisticated instruments to perform the procedure. ICSI is performed as part of the IVF treatment cycle. It can increase the chance offertilization and is often recommended when the male partner has a low sperm count. In fact, ICSI has given new hope to men who have been previously diagnosed with male infertility. For males with absolutely no sperm, doctors can perform Donor Insemination (DI), in which donor sperm is placed inside the uterus via a procedure called intrauterine insemination. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
