I'm 25 male working. I'm thin & quick-tired. So I would drink coconut water alot usually 3 times a week as it contains glucose and gives energy . Now I stopped it because my friend told me that it can cause sugar as the glucose level increases in body by too much drinking it. please clarify.

Coconut water doesn't contain glucose, it has a micronutrients.

Mr. Lybrate-user, if you have no diabetes then taking coconut water is not harmful at all. The amount of glucose in that is not very high. In fact other foods like pastries, bakery items, junk foods are more harmful. So you need not worry. You may also take more proteins like 2 or 3 eggs a day, plus exercise to build muscles and strength.
