Dear lybrate-user, loss of a significant one is a potential source of stress. Sadness and grief are natural emotional responses which help us accept and cope with the loss. However, if the mood continues to be significantly sad even after six month with low levels of energy, easy fatigueability, and loss of interest and pleasure it may be helpful to seek professional help. You could consider consulting a clinical psychologist who practices psychotherapy. Psychotherapy is well known for efficiently managing depressive symptoms and facilitating effective coping with loss. Best wishes & regards,
