Hi lybrate-user, smoking in any amount is dangerous. There is no use or positive side of smoking. It helps in relieving stress but only for part time, later on it worsen the stress and it is an absolutely faulty cope up strategy to fight the stress. I suggest stopping smoking and consult psychiatrist for stress management. Take care dear.

Smoking once a day may not be as harmful, but it will still affect the lung tissues, still add up plaque formation in arteries. Funnily, it does not relieves stress, nicotine creates stress between two fags and then supposedly relieves it! take care.
