Sugar level can rise after covid temporarily if steroid was used for treatment purpose. Covid doesn't raise the sugar level .you might be having raised sugar level before but it was not diagnosed as you might be asymptomatic. Kindly consult online or nearby doctor for treatment of the raised sugar level. Follow strict diet and avoid high glycemic index foods. Have regular exercise and brisk walk.
