It depends on your family history, if you have observed genetic diseases in your family like colour blindness, sickle cell anemia ,hemophilia or any other disease expressing in your family, like your uncle ,aunt or your cousins then you should go to nearby genetic counselling centre to know about the chaces of expression of that disease in your offspring if you marry your 2nd cousin. Chances of genetic disease to get expressed when you marry your 2nd cousin are very low but still for life threatening diseases or any other disease which may limit your offspring's life you should undergo genetic counselling.
