Constipation is seen very commonly in pregnant women. However I will advise to bring diet modification drink at least 8 glass of water. Take fiber diet. Like cooked or stem vegetables. Vegetables are good source of fiber. Avoid rice and bread instead take roti avoid oily stuff. Also eat fruits like apple. Drink coconut water daily one time is enough. Avoid: banana can also cause constipation. Avoid pineapple and papaya in pregnancy its not good to take those to fruits. Once the stool is soft, then you will not have pain while defecating.
