My surgery is planned for next month. I am a working female. I am sure I would get enough leaves from my office. I want to know how long does it take to recover from ovarian cyst surgery?

Ovarian cyst surgery requires four to six weeks of time for complete recovery. If your job requires more physical activity, consult your doctor before rejoining your work. You may feel pain in your tummy for a few days after the surgery. Make sure to contact your doctor if you face the following symptoms during the recovery period - heavy bleeding, acute pain or swelling in abdomen, high fever and smelly vaginal discharge.
